Account Sharing FAQ
What is account sharing?
Account sharing is when you willingly allow another person to use your Roblox account to play Adopt Me! Account sharing includes, but is not limited to:
- Giving your log in information willingly to a family member or friend.
- Logging into your account on a device that doesn't belong to you without signing out of it. This includes public devices like library computers or a family member / friend's device.
- Changing your account information in a manner that allows another user to access your account. This includes changing your password, email or phone number at the request of another person.
Should I share my account?
It is never recommended to share your account with another person, no matter who they are. Sharing your account could lead to actions happening on your account that you don't approve of, including but not limited to:
- Hacking, Scamming or otherwise violating Adopt Me!/Roblox rules.
- Reverse Neon/Mega of your pets
- Trading your pets
- Releasing your pets
As per Roblox's support article:
We know that sometimes friends and siblings may want to share their accounts. Roblox does not encourage account sharing. Anyone with access to your account can make changes to that account - change the password, spend your currency, trade your items, etc.
Roblox accounts are free to make, so it's best if every player has their own.
Will Adopt Me! Support reverse actions that have happened due to sharing my account?
No. By sharing your account, you as the account owner are held responsible for any actions that have occurred on your account.
As such, Adopt Me! Support will not:
- Reverse trades that occurred due to account sharing.
- Reverse Neons or Mega Neons that occurred due to account sharing.
- Reverse any action that has occurred due to account sharing.
- Unban an account that has been banned due to actions that occurred due to account sharing.
