Trading Values
Is there an official Value page?
There is no current official trading value system, nor is there an item value list or website that is officially made or endorsed by Adopt Me!
Can I trust third-party value sites?
We do not endorse other value sites as while these are useful tools to the community, we cannot guarantee their legitimacy and they could be falsifying values in their favor. They do not have inside knowledge that contributes to the true value of an item, such as how frequently an item is traded or the scarcity of an item, and so may not be reliable.
We recommend trading an item only if it brings you joy rather than following meaningless numbers that tell you a value that cannot be for certain, as there is no publicly available data for each item.
There have been incidents where the values of an item have been artificially inflated by value sites to trick players into trading away what would be considered "high-tier" pets for less rare items. Therefore, players made what they felt were legitimate trades, to then later find they were scammed.
Unfortunately, if this occurs, Adopt Me Support can not return trades as both parties consented to the trade and were happy with their items. As such, our involvement would be unfair to the other side if they were not intentionally scamming but following a value site.
How can I tell if my trade is a Win, Fair or a Loss?
If a trade isn't fair, a warning will let you know. This warning works off of the number of items placed in the trade, and the difference in rarities. If this warning appears, you should reconsider or decline the trade.
You can join our Discord server with a dedicated Win, Fair, Lose channel where experienced community members can react to each message to tell you whether you should continue the trade. Alongside this, it is always best to use your intuition.
To join our Discord server you must be over the age of 13 as per Discord's Terms of Service.
